It's always nice and we had a nice evening there. The inn is really easy to get to! The good transport connections make a visit possible immediately. We both found the drink selection perfect! Really quick and polite service. I think that all the restaurant staff did a very good job there.

A great fish restaurant that we didn't expect inland. The chef can do it. If you like fish you should definitely reserve a table, you won't regret it ... great.

Absolutely worth the drive to Potsdam. In addition to local fish, there is also other fish, but everything is freshly and perfectly prepared. In addition, there was delicious and inexpensive champagne during our visit. What more do you want?

Popped in on Sunday evening with reservation. Service very friendly and attentive! Then we had cod from the menu and pikeperch fillet with chanterelles from the menu of the day. Food came super fast ...?! But everything was very, very good. Prices high for the portion size. Nevertheless, unreservedly recommendable from our point of view.

When we were there there was e.g. a plate with three kinds of matjes (with herbs, eel-smoked and marinated in sherry) and a mixed salad: delicious! The plaice platter was also very good. We found the portions to be large and the prices are reasonable for the quality on offer. Be sure to book a table in advance, otherwise you will hardly get a seat.

The reservation went smoothly and we got our table outside. Say you sit on the street. The food was excellent and totally delicious and plentiful. Top fish restaurant, the only drawback is the "outdoor seating"

Last Saturday we were - four friends on our annual weekend tour - in this great restaurant for dinner. The greeting was very nice and we immediately felt comfortable. The food was really delicious, the portions just right. And because the atmosphere in this house was so pleasant, we extended the evening there until the end of the opening hours. We agree: when we are back in Potsdam, "Der Butt" is the very first choice.

Super friendly staff, delicious food, fast service. It may be a bit pricey but the place ticks all the boxes. As a Mediterranean guy, I would love to see more choices as starters but it is just for the curiosity how variety of tastes this chef can bring on table. This just became one of my favourite places in Potsdam.

Very unfriendly, and the food is over-priced for the quality. It's like they are trying to be a "fancy" restaurant. I also had the experience where the server was very rude when I wanted to keep my coat because I was cold. Condescending. Avoid this restaurant. There are many better options just a short walk away.

The worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. My mother was cold and wanted to keep her coat on during the meal and the exact words of the waiter who was YELLING at us were: You will not be served here if you don’t take your coat off, this restaurant is warm , get up and leave and go somewhere else! We were all very offended , the waiter was yelling to me, my babies and two grandmothers just because they asked to keep their coat on their backs! The man is clearly disturbed and offensive in every possible way. I have never had in my life such an experience before . I have visited the best restaurants all over the world and I have never seen something similar before. On top of that the bathroom had no changing station for babies and the corner where we were sitting was full of spider webs.

Highly Recommended! The staff is very attentive. My pregnant wife was offered a pillow for her back. The food was hot on the table after a very short wait. The two fish dishes were of high quality. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely evening
